Scope of this website
These notes describe the pages provided here. There are no user accounts, newsletters, contact forms, payment functions or embedded analytics or advertising trackers. Images, stylesheets and scripts are supplied with the website.
Page requests
When you request a website, its hosting provider necessarily receives connection information such as your IP address, the requested path and the time. Logging and retention depend on the hosting service used. You can send questions about the handling of connection data to the email address below. The website itself does not create a server-side visitor database.
IP lookup for language selection
If you open the language-neutral entry page without a saved language preference, your browser requests https://ipwho.is/?fields=success,country_code. The external IPWHOIS service receives your IP address as part of that connection and returns a country code. The request contains no account or form data; the code sends no referrer. Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein select German. Other countries, a failure or a wait longer than five seconds fall back to English. An IP address provides only an approximate regional indication, not knowledge of which language you speak. The service provides further information at IPWHOIS Privacy Policy.
Remembering your choice
A language you select manually is stored in your browser under tr-language. It takes priority over the IP lookup. You can remove it by clearing this website’s browser data. Explicit German and English page links do not trigger automatic language redirection.
Email and external links
If you email us, your address and message content are needed to handle the enquiry. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. External sources you choose to visit have their own privacy terms. For privacy enquiries about this website, contact info@topreifen-shop24.de.
